Indoor Smart Cabins or Outdoor Fields: Which Is Better for Morel Farming?
Choosing between indoor smart cabins and outdoor fields is one of the first strategic questions in commercial morel farming. The short answer: outdoor cultivation is normally the more economical route to large scale, while an indoor IoT cabin makes sense when you need precise, repeatable climate control in a compact space or in a difficult climate. Before buying, your analysis should focus on available land, local climate, operating costs and target market.
Outdoor morel farming has the longest track record.
